Mount Royal Distributes Canadian Flags to Residents

In a show of support for Canadian nationalism and pride, the Town Council has taken the initiative to distribute Canadian flags to residents. This gesture reinforces our attachment to our national identity at a time when unity is more important than ever.

As 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Canada’s national flag, this initiative is particularly symbolic. Recent events, including discussions around tariffs and the threat of annexation, have sparked a renewed sense of pride in our country. By flying the Canadian flag, Mount Royal residents can send a strong and unified message: we stand by our country and its values.

How to Get Your Flag:

• Maximum 5 flags per household, available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

• Distribution points: Library, Recreation Centre, Public Security, and Town Hall.

• Available starting today, March 28, 2025.
