The Town of Mount Royal is looking for twenty (20) volunteer participants for its 2024 lead-copper sampling campaign!
Objective :
To assess the presence of lead and/or copper in the drinking water of residences in the Town of Mount Royal.
Why get involved?
Lead and copper may be present in drinking water due to corrosion of lead or copper pipes and fittings. The presence of these metals in water can have harmful effects on consumer health. This campaign therefore aims to protect public health by assessing lead and copper concentrations in drinking water, and making the necessary adjustments if recommended thresholds are exceeded.
Who can participate?
All residents of the Town of Mount Royal occupying an eligible residence. To be eligible, the building must :
