Go vélo Montreal Festival 2024

The Go vélo Montréal Festival is a week of cycling and urban activities for all. From May 26 to June 2, Montreal will vibrate to the rhythm of bicycles at several popular events, including the Tour la Nuit (Friday, May 31) and the Tour de l'Île de Montréal (Sunday, June 2).

Tour la Nuit: Friday, May 31

Start at 20:00 in Parc Jeanne-Mance, at the corner of Avenue du Parc and Avenue Mont-Royal. A 24-km, car-free route through the streets of the following boroughs: Plateau Mont-Royal, Ville-Marie and Sud-Ouest.

Tour de l'Île de Montréal: Sunday, June 2

Again this year, 2 formulas: regular route and discovery route.

1. Regular route 

Start at 9:15 in Parc Jeanne-Mance, at the corner of Avenue du Parc and Avenue Mont-Royal. A 28 km or 50 km car-free circuit through the streets of 10 Montreal boroughs: Plateau- Mont-Royal, Rosemont-Petite-Patrie, Outremont, Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame de-Grâce, Westmount, Sud-Ouest, Lasalle, Lachine, Verdun and Ville-Marie.

2. Discovery trail 

The start is at 7:00 in Parc Jeanne-Mance, at the corner of Avenue du Parc and Avenue Mont-Royal. A signposted route (choice of 68 or 96 km) on streets open to motorized traffic, except for the last 23.7 km, which will be run in the company of thousands of other participants on the regular route. The routes will take in the following Montreal municipalities and boroughs: Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont-Petite-Patrie, Outremont, Ville Mont-Royal, St-Laurent, Pierrefonds-Roxborro, Senneville, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Baie-D'Urfé, Beaconsfield, Pointe-Claire, Dorval, Lachine, LaSalle, Verdun, Sud-Ouest and Ville-Marie.

In TMR, he crossing will take place in the Plymouth/Lucerne sector, between 7:15 and 10:45. There will be no street closures, and residents of affected streets will receive a communication.

As this event will change the usual traffic conditions, we invite you to plan your trips. Please refer to the map of the route for the roads that will be used in TMR.
