Hazardous Household Waste Collection (HHW)

Travelling collections are back for 2024! Temporary drop-off points will be set up across the island of Montreal in April, May, June, August, September and October to collect household hazardous waste (HHW): nail polish, propane tanks, car batteries, batteries, certain cleaning products, solvents, pool chlorine, etc. The mobile collections, regardless of location, are open to the entire Montreal population (agglomeration).
A total of 36 collections have been added to Montreal.ca this year. As a reminder, each event is associated with a borough or linked city, but regardless of the location of the collection, all Montrealers have access to it.
