Following a public meeting held on March 12, 2024, the Town Council adopted, on March 19, 2024, a second Draft By-law No. 1441-14 to amend Zoning By-law No. 1441 with respect to setbacks, the coverage ratio and the floor area ratio in zone C-211.
This second draft by-law contains provisions making it a by-law subject to approval by way of referendum. Under the Act Respecting Elections and Referendums in Municipalities (CQLR, Ch. E-2.2), interested persons from the affected zones may request that this by-law be submitted for their approval. Thus, such an application may originate from the affected zone and contiguous zones for such provisions touching them. Information to determine which interested persons are entitled to sign an application and the tenor of an application, may be obtained from the Town Clerk during regular business hours.
A copy of the summary of the second draft by-law may be obtained, free of charge, by any person who so requests.
The territory covered by this by-law includes zone C-211 (zone bounded by Rockland Road, Brittany Avenue, the back of the immovable located at 2450-2460, Rockland Road and Côte-de-Liesse Road.
